The New York State Board of Law Examiners announced that the New York State July 2010 Bar Exam results are being emailed to candidates starting today, Friday, November 5, 2010.  An email will be sent to all candidates with an attachment containing examination results.  Also, a private look-up is provided on the Board of Law Examiners website to view results in addition to the email that is being sent out.  You may visit this page and retrieve your results by entering your BOLE ID.  Rumor has it the Board of Law Examiners posted an unofficial partial list of passing candidates in error this morning and then took it down.  Luckily, Above the Law caught this in time and saved a copy to their site. You can access the list from this post, but please keep in mind it’s only a partial list and we make no claims as to its accuracy!  Good luck to all the candidates awaiting results either way!

Update:  BOLE decided to adjust its results release schedule due to the premature pass list posting.  Of the 11,557 candidates who sat for the NY July 2010 Bar Exam, 70 percent passed.  Congratulations to everyone who was successful!
