On Friday last week, California released results of the July 2009 bar exam to students. Right on cue, over the weekend, results were made available to the general public. The list is segmented alphabetically by last name. Congratulations to all successful 2009 candidates. With this posting, the July 2009 announcement season draws to a close. As we ramp up into February 2010 study months, we will bring a number of features to you weekly that will help in your study efforts, so stay tuned!
California is set to release the results of July’s bar exam. Letters will be mailed to candidates next Friday November 20th. Candidates will be able to access the pass list that evening beginning at 6 PM PST via their applicant number and file number. The pass list will be made available to the public 36 hours later, Sunday morning November 22d and 6 AM PST. We will update this post once the information is available to the general public. New Jersey has released the results of July’s bar exam. A list of results by candidate number is available here. Overall, nearly 83% of candidates passed the exam. Further detail regarding the swearing in ceremony is below:

The Supreme Court of New Jersey and the Federal District Court of New Jersey are pleased to announce that a central swearing-in ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, for eligible candidates. The ceremony will take place at 10:00 am at the War Memorial in Trenton.
Candidates who are eligible to be sworn in will receive written notification and an invitation to the ceremony with their results. The Bar Admissions Unit will post a list of eligible candidates on its website. This list will continue to be updated after the results are released.
Specific details regarding the ceremony, including RSVP information, will be included in the results packets.
