Hi Mr. Gonzalez,

The best way to study for the MBE is to learn the law and do a lot of practice questions so you can learn the tricks of the MBE and understand both why the correct answers are right and the incorrect answers are wrong. MicroMash is a self-study, online bar review course that offers nearly 2,800 practice questions with adaptive software that tracks your weaknesses so you can focus your studies on the areas where you need the most help. As far as studying on your own goes, MicroMash would be an excellent choice and one of the best MBE reviews around. Please feel free to call us at 1-800-BAR-EXAM if you have any questions. In the meantime, check out our customer feedback to learn more about how others have been successful on their respective bar exams with MicroMash: http://barexambrief.com/2010/04/29/share-your-micromash-story-win-a-free-t-shirt/. Good luck studying!

I study very hard for the MPRE and got a scaled score of 80 point. Now I am wondering how to prepare for the MBE since I am a native from Puerto Rico who is very interested to move to the Continental USA. Any good materials I can study by myself and be successful on those other tests?

Well, now that I've passed the exam, in case any one else reads my question, I would just encourage them to remain consistent in their studying. Don't feel rushed, and never feel like you need to "master" any subject. You just want to be comfortable with the subjects and make sure you're continuing to improve in your practice (practice MBE's and essays). I just kept studying and kept moving on to new topics, and the more I studied, the more I learned what I understood and what I still needed help with. Towards the end of the study period, I focused greatly on my trouble areas to gain an understanding, and anything that I still didn't understand by a week or 2 from the exam, I left it alone. Thank God I passed, but I think the best advice would be to not freak out, and truly just continue studying. Stay focused, and work hard all the way to the end, and things should work out fine. God bless and good luck (to anyone who happens to read).

I appreciate this article. Great advice. With 6 weeks to go until the exam, I am still feeling a bit overwhelmed with the amount of material I haven't gotten to yet, and I don't feel I've really "mastered" the majority of any subject (I started studying in May). Is there a point where you felt like you definitely knew at least most of the material you needed to know for the exam? And if so, when was that? Is there anything you would recommend I should DEFINITELY do each day from this point on to ensure I'm as prepared as I can be (e.g. doing a certain number of MBE questions a day, etc.)?

Thanks for your time and help.
