New York State SealThe results of July’s New York Bar Exam have been made available to applicants today on the New York Board of Law Examiners’ web site. The private results are a preview, made available as a courtesy to applicants. Tomorrow, Friday November 6th, a public list will be made available. We will update this post at that time to include a link to the public list. Good luck to all candidates. Initial rumors indicate a quite high passage rate. We’ll update with the facts once tey are known to us.

As promised, the New York Board of Law Examiners web sit has been updated with a link to lists of bar exam passers. You can find everything you need from this link, although the site is very slow this morning. I am certain it is laboring under the strain of thousands and thousands of takers, as well as hundreds of thousands of interested parties.

The overall pass rate among all takers for the July exam was 72%. First time takers passed at an 80% clip. The numbers were substantially higher for ABA accredited graduates who were also first time takers – 88.2%. More statistics are available via this press release.

state-seal-texasAn intrepid reader has pointed out that Texas has published the results of July’s bar exam. The results were scheduled to be released officially tomorrow, Friday November 6th. However, the list of passers is available now. A hearty congratulations to those that passed, from the staff of MicroMash Bar Review. The Texas Board of Law Examiner have also published a handy FAQ page, which you may wish to refer to as well.
