The DC Bar has released the results of the July 2009 bar exam. A list of passers can be found on the web site of the DC Bar. The overall pass rate among candidates was 53%, while first take takers experienced a 72% passage rate.

The DC Bar has released the results of the July 2009 bar exam. A list of passers can be found on the web site of the DC Bar. The overall pass rate among candidates was 53%, while first take takers experienced a 72% passage rate.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has published the results of the July 2009 bar exam.
The list of passers is segmented alphabetically as follows:
Passers alphabetically with last names beginning with A-C
Passers alphabetically with last names beginning with D-H
Passers alphabetically with last names beginning with I-M
Passers alphabetically with last names beginning with N-R
Passers alphabetically with last names beginning with S-Z
The Board of Bar Examiners has also released some basic statistics associated with bar passage rates. Overall, 85.7% of candidates passed the exam. First time takers experienced a 90.4% passage rate. Those taking the exam for the second or more time experienced a much lower passage rate, as follows:
Second Time: 49.0%
Third Time: 45.0%
Fourth Time: 33.3%
Fifth Time or more: 27.3%

Sorry for the tardy post. South Carolina posted the results of the July 2009 bar exam last Friday. The list of passers can be found here. Overall, 76.28% of takers passed. 84.81% of University of South Carolina graduates passed the exam, while Charleston School of Law graduates passed at a 75.88% rate. Congratulations to all who passed the exam!
