The Commonwealth of Virginia has announced the results of the July 2009 bar exam. Two lists of names have been posted to the Virginia Board of Bar Examiners’ web site. The first is a list of successful bar exam taker and who have met all other requirements of bar admission. The second list is those candidates who have successfully passed the exam, but have yet to fulfill all other requirements.
Among all takers, 75.4% passed. The pass rate among first time takers was 80.2%.
A special shout out to childhood buddy and long time tennis rival Jeff Reynolds who has successfully passed his second bar exam. Congrats Jeff!
